Emma Thomas has a passion for, and commitment to, regional economic development and social inclusion for all and community connectivity and accessibility and these continue to be part of her focus as Sunshine Coast Council CEO.
- Andrew Eves-Brown, NEW Head of Economic Development, Sunshine Coast Council
Andrew Eves-Brown’s role expands across the economic development portfolio. He’s responsible for attracting new businesses to the region, helping advance the industries already here and attracting premium events to aid tourism on the Coast, as well as provide events for the local community to enjoy.
- Matt Stoeckel, NEW CEO, Visit Sunshine Coast
Matt Stoeckel works closely with VSC members, tourism associations, as well as Council, State and Federal partners, to maximise the benefits of the tourism industry for the Sunshine Coast community.

Australian Wearable Art is delighted to collaborate with Belinda Kuhlewein – Winner of the Floriana Category at the 2019 Australian Wearable Art Festival to provide you with this amazing opportunity to transform Natures Textures & Treasures into your very own Unique Botanical Wall Art.
In this four and half hour workshop, participants will learn the skills to transform an array of raw materials from nature to create a one of a kind piece of Botanical Wall Art to take home.
Online registration is essential. Tickets $155, with all materials provided.
Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), in partnership with Tourism Noosa and Visit Sunshine Coast, invite tourism and events businesses to the Conversations with Industry event in Noosa on Wednesday 28 April.
Hear the latest insights from TEQ, their marketing and event activities and opportunities to get involved. Presentations will be tailored for Sunshine Coast businesses. An interactive leadership panel discussion will focus on local issues and opportunities for the tourism and events industry, with industry leaders hearing directly from operators.
Date: Wednesday, 28 April 2021
Time: 1:30pm for registration, for 2:00pm start. Finishing at 5:00 pm, followed by networking function thanks to Visit Sunshine Coast and Tourism Noosa.

The opportunity to connect with TEQ specialists during breakout sessions to provide feedback and ask questions, and networking is also planned after the event.

An all-ages community music festival on the Labour Day Long Weekend featuring 100% QLD artists - 50% First Nations, 50% Sunshine Coast and 75% female artists.
