March Quarter 2023 Pulse Report
Business Chamber Queensland’s Pulse Survey of Business Conditions for March 2023 Quarter reveals that the “decreased demand and economic activity attributed to inflation and interest rates has resulted in a decline in business performance.”
The survey also revealed that “while retaining and recruiting suitable employees is still the top constraint, its severity has eased since the December quarter. The constraints on business growth has revealed that the impact of recent interest rate increases on consumer spending is being felt by Queensland business.”
Help Us Improve Business Conditions
Business Chamber Queensland’s June quarter Pulse Survey is now open and you’re invited to provide your feedback about how your business performed in the second quarter of 2023, what’s impacting your business today, and what will influence your decision-making over the next three months.
This quarter the focus is on ‘understanding the workforce, operational constraints, and growth opportunities for Queensland business’. We need your insight to advocate for the future of Queensland businesses.
