The Imperial Hotel has commenced getting organised for this year’s Movember, doing their part in raising money for men's health, whilst also having a great time!

What's Happening @ Eumundi Museum: Update from Director Joe
Staff Changes: Recently we farewelled Assistant Curator, Heather Moore who moved on in her career. We were overwhelmed with the amount of applications to fill the part-time position and will be announcing our new Assistant Curator shortly. Luckily we have a great (if small) team of volunteers to help out!

Eumundi Reconstituted is a heritage photographic competition involving the Museum’s extensive photographic collection and community participation to either manipulate or recreate photos into a new piece. View the online digital collection. The competition is now open. Entry is free with a total of $1,000 prize money on offer in three categories.
Happy Birthday Eumundi Voice!
Congratulations to the team at Eumundi Voice, who recently celebrated three years of producing the local community magazine.
A big shout out to the dedicated team of volunteer writers, proofreaders and deliverers who commit their time each and every fortnight.
With 75 issues under their belt, the team gathered recently at the Eumundi Community Garden to commemorate this milestone.
Eumundi Voice is an initiative of Eumundi Rotary Initiatives Ltd. For interested Chamber members, the writers group meets Friday’s fortnightly. If you can spare an hour or two, or would like to get involved, the team would love to hear from you.

The June quarter 2023 report is out now and shows both business operating costs and labour costs have reached record highs.
Findings also confirm that “businesses are facing the combined impact of high operating costs, high labour and insurance costs, high interest rates and reduced consumer spending which mean they’re less optimistic in the state and nation’s economic future.” See the analysis here
