Eumundi Placemaking Community Consultation Commenced
Share your vision to help shape Eumundi's future
Eumundi Chamber of Commerce is pleased to confirm that community engagement for the Placemaking in Eumundi - Memorial Drive Streetscape Project has commenced.
This project, which will result in long awaited streetscape improvements in Eumundi, is most welcomed by Chamber member businesses trading throughout the entire central business precinct.
Officially launched by Sunshine Coast Council Friday 23 October 2020, the project will seek ideas and feedback from the community to develop recommendations for the design of the streetscape, and priorities for its improvement.
Sunshine Coast Council is calling on the community to have their say and share valuable local knowledge by participating in a number of events and/or an online survey throughout October and November.

The first stage of community engagement seeks to understand your values, ideas and vision for Memorial Drive.
How you can get involved...
- Saturday 31 October - visit Council's Eumundi Markets stall - 8am to noon.
- Thursday 5 November - Business owners can attend the local business ideas night at The Imperial Hotel Eumundi - drop in anytime between 4pm and 6pm.
- Sunday 8 November - Come along to the sausage sizzle in Dick Caplick Park - 10am to 1pm.
- Friday 23 October to Friday 20 November - Complete the online survey via the link below.

Based on Council's current strategy for Placemaking Eumundi - Memorial Drive Streetscape Project, Stage 2 of community engagement is proposed for February 2021, with Stage 3 to follow in March in the lead up to Stage 4 in April, resulting in detailed design and and preparation for construction anticipated from July 2021 to June 2022.
