The sixth annual Eumundi Rotary Pride of Work Awards will be held on Thursday 27 May, at Joe’s Bar and Grill, Joe’s Waterhole Hotel.
The Awards recognise employees and business operators within out town and community who:
- Do their job well, consistently and with a warm smile,
- Go the extra mile to achieve highly in whatever the work situation dictates, and
- Represents the town and community of Eumundi and 4562 in a positive and welcoming manner.
Dr Sarah Rose, Eumundi Dental finalist in the Sunshine Coast Young Business Women of the Year 2019 is this years’ guest speaker sharing her insight and experiences about “the road to opening and operating a successful business in a small community”.

It's on again... From the 10th -13th June 2021, Noosa invites you to join some of the country's most celebrated culinary icons in Noosa who will be teaming up with their latest, greatest and favourite restaurants to bring you events and collaborations like never before.
This year's line up includes Matt Moran, Colin Fassnidge, Loura Sharrad, Matt Sinclair, Alastair McLeod, Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan, Kirsten Tibballs, Anna Polyviou and George Colombaris.

The team at The Imperial Hotel Eumundi invite you to join them for a FREE family friendly event featuring top brewers from across the Sunshine Coast accompanied by tasty street food, and a program of live music and grooves throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
If you love making beer, learning about beer, talking beer, and, of course, tasting beer, then this is certainly an event you won't want to miss.
Festival-goers will also have a chance to learn more about the science and craft of beer making, with the respective breweries sharing insights into how particular brews are fine-tuned.
And if Gin is more your thing, the Gin Bar has been added this year, serving up their house blend Folktale gins.

The Entrepreneurs’ Programme, delivered in partnership with i4Connect, helps transform Australian businesses with access to expert advice and financial support through grants, helping you get from where you are to where you want to be.
Under the Entrepreneurs’ Programme, Accelerating Commercialisation provides expert guidance and connections to help businesses and researchers to commercialise their novel product, process or service.
After receiving commercialisation advice, businesses can access matched grants of up to $1 million to assist in the commercialisation process.
Facilitators provide guidance and mentorship to help achieve project objectives, with an opportunity to access networks to help make important business connections, create opportunities, raise capital and enter new markets. Facilitators will also introduce potential exposure to investors and multi-national corporations through domestic and international roadshows.

The AusIndustry Outreach Network is hosting information sessions on the Accelerating Commercialisation element of the Entrepreneurs' Programme.
An information session for the Accelerating Commercialisation program on the Sunshine Coast is being held on Wednesday 26 May, 3-4pm at Meeting Room 6, Level 1 Venue 114, Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina.
At this session you will learn about the program, eligibility requirements and the application process, and have the opportunity to engage with local Commercialisation Facilitators and successful grantees
