Eumundi's Timbercraftsman featured with Local Artists at The J!

Prepare to be mesmerised by the diverse talents on display with collections of evocative and captivating works by local artists Jen Jay Art; Shay Balmanno; Kate Parks, and Michele Rudder of 'Perigian Artbeat'.
Adding an extra layer of artistry to this already stellar lineup is guest feature artist, and master craftsman David Suters. Based in Eumundi, David is a furniture maker, designer and timber artisan, recognised for his exquisite creations that blur the line between functional objects and fine art, transforming natural timber into breathtaking creations that captivate the senses.
"Artful Living" isn't just an exhibition; it's a celebration of creativity that transforms the everyday into the extraordinary! Eumundi Museum is thrilled to showcase an exhibition of convict love tokens, featuring 40 unique pieces on loan from the National Museum of Australia.
This is a significant achievement for our regional museum, especially as renovations are now complete, allowing for a larger exhibition space.
These tokens offer a poignant glimpse into the past, reflecting the heartfelt messages convicts left for their loved ones, each telling a story of love and longing from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Don’t miss this chance to explore our history—open until early January with free entry!
