This initiative, instigated by the Chamber, has facilitated Experience Eumundi being able to collaborate with Sunshine Coast Council to support local businesses and alleviate parking pressure during Eumundi Placemaking Memorial Drive streetscape construction works. 

Key details

• Free parking: Approx 150 parking spaces are now available in the upper Experience Eumundi car park from 6am to 6pm on non-market days (Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri and Sun).
• Access: Enter via the boom gate on Napier Road, with a short walk through the Amphitheatre and Market Terraces precinct to the main street.
• Paid Parking: Regular Experience Eumundi car parking operations will continue on market days (Wed & Sat).

This arrangement, fully funded by Experience Eumundi as part of its community contributions and sponsorship initiative, will help mitigate any potential impact of traffic lane conversions and on-street parking closures during construction. 

With Stage 2 of streetscape works about to commence in front of Dick Caplick Park and The Imperial Hotel, we encourage you to: 

1. Recommend to your staff to utilise the upper market carpark to keep premium spaces in Memorial Drive available for customers.
2. Inform customers and visitors about this convenient parking option, and that you’re still open for business.
