April Chamber Coffee Connect
Eumundi's Buzzing with Local Updates and Connections

This morning’s Coffee Connect, hosted by Tom Rumble at Eumundi Coffee Roasters, brought together 19 members and special guests for a lively networking session! Fuelled with Tom's signature coffee blend and Ten Acres pastries everyone made the most of making new connections before heading off to start their working day!
Highlights included insights about business support initiatives, funding and programs from Joe Proctor (Business Concierge, Business Queensland formerly DESBT), Cr David Law (Division 10 Councillor, SCC) and General Manager Mark Cameron and Marketing Manager Bamik Baker (Experience Eumundi), who shared updates on the Sunshine Coast Council Buy Local Campaign in June and the introduction of the Buy Local Day Experience Eumundi Passport, plus key dates for applications regarding Round 2 of their Community Sponsorship program, and the Eumundi Movie Nights.
Chamber updates covered streetscape construction progress updates where members were able to connect directly with the Construction Project Manager Jaro Bauleka, and upcoming events such as the ‘Doing Business with Council’ webinar on April 15.
Chamber updates included the announcement of the 2025 Annual General Meeting, set for May 27, and the call for nominations for executive positions which will also be mentioned in this month's newsletter due out soon. Members were encouraged to attend this year's AGM not only to network but to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of the incorporation of the Chamber, and 89 years since formation in 1936.
In the April Member Spotlight shone on Tolly’s (previously Bella 101), Eumundi Coffee Roasters, Rex Halverson and David Suters Timbercraftsman who shared their latest news, special offers and upcoming events.
Mark Sutton from Noosa, Cooloola, and Hinterland Solar Advisers sponsored this month’s lucky door prize, won by Durnford Dart (Bamboo Australia) and Fern Navarette (Eumundi Magpies).
To wrap up, members were provided with an opportunity to hear from the Independent Candidate for Fairfax, Francine Wiig.
Following another jam packed line up, members made the most of the remaining time available for networking and building relationships.
Thank you to all who joined us in fostering connections and participating in chamber activities.
