Support for Businesses Impacted by Cyclone Alfred – Grants and Resources Available

Grants and Funding
Businesses affected by Cyclone Alfred can now access a range of grants and funding to aid recovery.
These include the
- Exceptional Disaster Assistance Recovery Grant (up to $25,000 for cleanup and repairs),
- Disaster Assistance Loans (up to $250,000), and
- Essential Working Capital Loans (up to $100,000).
Mentoring, Financial Counselling, Continuity Planning Workshops and Online Training Programs
Additional support is also available through
- Free business mentoring with Business Queensland and the Mentoring for Growth Program (M4G),
- Financial counseling,and business wellness coaches through the Small Business Financial Counselling Service Queensland (SBFCSQ),
- Digital capability programs with Regional Business HQ, and the
- The University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) Continuity Planning course, offering 3 x 90 minute workshops followed by networking.
Sunshine Coast Council's Level Up Your Business Resources are also accessible through Council’s Local Business Support team to support resilience and recovery.
